God wants to bless you more, but these 6 things are preventing it.

The good news is God has many plans for you, for your life. He wants to prosper you, to bless you. He created you for a purpose.

God wants to put great things into your life and He wants you to succeed but these 6 things block the flow of blessings from happening in your life:

1. You think negative, self-destructive thoughts.

"I'm not good enough to be successful."

"I'll never be happy."

"I can't find the right job."

"I will never have enough money to build my dream house.

Sad to say, you are right. Whatever you think of yourself, you are right. Your own negative and self-destructive thinking prevents you from receiving God's blessings.

God is trying to help you live a happy and blessed life, but unless you're willing to change your thoughts, you'll miss His opportunities for you.

If you want to live a blessed life, be willing to change how to think. Change your negative thoughts into positive thoughts like:

"I'm not successful yet, but everyday I'm a day closer to my dreams."

"I can be happy if I choose to no matter how hard the situation is.

"I don't have enough money yet, but I will make a way and God will make a way to make my dreams come true.

"I'll keep on believing that good things are coming my way no matter how impossible it seems."

Stop dwelling on your negative thoughts, on your failures, on your mistakes, on all the things you lack. God has so much more in store for you, start making room for it in your thoughts.

Change your negative mindset into positivity and hope, and you'll begin seeing God's blessings, miracles and healings.

2. You can't imagine great things happening in your life.

While browsing your newsfeed, when you see a beautiful house, you say to yourself, "I can't imagine living in that beautiful house."

When you see a beautiful place, you secretly desire to be there but you tell yourself, "I can't imagine myself going there."

If you don't think you can have those good things in your life, wish granted, those good things will never happen in your life.

You see, the barrier lies in your mind. It's not because God is not listening to your prayers. He is actually listening to your thoughts. When you say, "You can't imagine living a good life, you never will."

3. You believe you are stuck and you dwell in the past.

"I've been poor since the moment I was born, I'll be poor for the rest of my life."

"I've been sick for years, I'll die with this sickness."

"I've been bullied and maltreated since I was a child, I guess, this is my destiny."

God wants to take you to new levels, He awakens you every morning to give you a fresh start to re-write the story of your life.

But day after day, you feel stuck. You consistently dwell in the past. You are filled with regrets, with past hurts, past failures, past mistakes. You can't move, you are stuck because you allow yourself to live in the past.

Get rid of your old negative habits. Get beyond the prison of the past and start expecting to do great things in your life.

God gives you new hope every day. You have to be willing to move on, take the opportunities that God gives you to take you to a better life.

4. You think small.

You base your thinking into your limited capacity. You just want enough food, enough money, enough things to survive. You use to think small and accept mediocre, average and normal things happening into your life.

You expect the same old routine happening into your life, day in and day out. Just enough to survive, but not to truly live in abundance. You envy people who have more. You secretly wish to have what they have, but you believe you can't because you're not good enough.

The truth is, God wants you to succeed, to live the life you always dreamed of. He wants to bless you more than you deserve but you are blinded by the thoughts of living small.

God is always trying to do new things, new situations, new opportunities into our lives, but the question is: Are you believing that better things are coming your way? Are you believing to receive them?

Enlarge your vision and listen to what God is trying to tell you. He wants you to dream big because He has bigger things in store for you!

5. You are looking life through the eyes of doubt.

God is always ready to bring new opportunities everyday because He wants to take you to a new level, He wants to give you more. But you can't perceive it because you are blinded by doubts.

"But how can I be successful? I'm broke. I have no savings. I am in pain. I am sick. I have many problems. It's impossible."

God will make you successful but He didn't say it will be because of your capacity, your power. He said it is going to be by His power. He will be with you along the way and will continuously guide you to make it happen.

With God by your side, nothing is impossible. He can make a way when there seems to be no way. He will bring you at the right place at the right time. You are exactly where you are right now. Ask for His guidance to where He is leading you. You challenges, pains, and daily situations are a part of your journey.

When the situation looks impossible and you face struggles which seem harder than you can handle, pray and say: "God, thank you for fighting this battle with me. I know You'll be with me along the way and You'll turn this situation around and lead me to victory."

He can turn your life around in a glimpse of an eye when it's your time. If you want to experience a life full of blessings and miracles, see life through the eyes of faith.

6. You feel jealous when you see other people succeeding in life.

If you look carefully, you will see that God is bringing people into your life to encourage you. That friend, who owns a car? That someone who is successful in her career? That neighbor who lives in a house you always dreamed of? That person on Facebook who frequently travels into places you want to visit?

They are God's ways of inspiring and encouraging you. Instead of being jealous of their achievements and victories, be encourage.

He allowed people who seemed to be more successful than you, or happier than you, for a reason. He's not telling you that He loves and favors them more than you.

God is telling you: "See? I made them successful. I want you to be successful too if you just believe, act and have faith in me." He has put people into your life as examples to inspire you.

When you see their accomplisments, their happiness, their fruits of success, close your eyes and wholeheartedly say, "Yes, God! I know you will bless me too. Maybe not today, but soon. Thank you for the inspiration. I'll keep on believing for your plans for me too."
